SHEY - Ruthie Ofrasio
Ruthie is an actress originally from East Brunswick, NJ, Ruthie Ofrasio graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. When Ruthie isn't acting, she is busy running her creative cultural platform for artists of color, This is AKIN. An up and coming figure in the Filipino community in Manhattan, Ruthie works to give artists of color creative space to collaborate. Previous credits include Asunción in Niko Crawford's Lola, Rosie in Lucy Thurber's new play, East Coast Curriculum, & most recently, she starred as herself in Regina Hoyle's latest web series, "NAPS". Later this summer you can catch her in Paige Esterly's new play, The Torso directed by Laura Holland, at Theater for a New City's Dream Up Festival.
LOGAN - Will Meyers
Will is an actor, dancer, and musician from New York City. Raised in Moodus, CT he and his family moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to pursue his career. In 2015, he guest starred on a Nickelodeon show and co-starred on a DCOM, before starring in the indie film, “Edge of the World” which recently received praise at the 2018 Dallas International Film Festival. After graduating from Hart High School in 2017, he moved to New York City to reprise his role as one of the leads in the musical “Generation Me”. The show won “Best Musical”, “Best Ensemble” and numerous other awards in the 2017 New York Musical Festival. More recently, he guest starred on CBS’s “Blue Bloods” and ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat”, as well as several student short films, with NYU in particular.
RORY - Danny Olabi
Danny has always loved the art of acting and singing but didn’t start to follow his dreams until about a year ago (after high school). His short career has consisted of him completing one year acting program at NYFA(NYC), appearing in multiple short films, and Tv Show The Perfect Murder. Danny will also be appearing in an Off Broadway Production Disney's High School Musical Live this August in NYC. He plans to continue his journey by finishing his BFA at NYFA(LA) starting this September.
MJ - Mandy Figueroa
Mandy is an actress based out of New York City. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, she has been performing in live theatre for 10 years. She has played roles such as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, and Carrie White in Carrie the Musical. Mandy moved to NYC to attend NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and is now focusing on building her career as a Film/TV actress. She hopes to explore all aspects of art and human life through cinema, and inspire others to do the same. She is so honored and grateful to be a part of this project!
CREW:
Director - Briana Man
Briana is a Director, Director of Photography, Gaffer, and Photographer currently based out of NYC. She frequently works in California and enjoys traveling for on-location shoots. She has worked on various independent films, music videos, fashion films, commercials, and documentaries that have shot in the United States, Spain, France, and Costa Rica. Briana grew up in Connecticut, graduating from Newtown High School in 2014. She began as a photographer and actress, and likes to bring these experiences to her work as a director and cinematographer. Her most recent works have been for Nike, Snapchat, and Leyna Bloom.
Director of Photography - Isaac Berner
Isaac was born and raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida. He graduated from NYU in 2016 with a BFA in Film & TV Production and a minor in Physics. Isaac fell in love with cinematography after getting a camera as an aid for memory recollection while coping with the effects of several concussions. While in school, Isaac crewed on countless productions (there is probably a number, he just never really thought to keep track of that sort of thing), and would skip (almost) too many classes to work professionally as an AC and Electrician on commercials, network television, and features. Since leaving school, Isaac has continued working as a freelance cinematographer, shooting narrative, commercial, and fashion content for various clients.

Producer - Katie Paul
Katie Paul has earned accolades for her ability to capture the spirit and soul of dance on film. A dancer herself, Katie produces content that highlights the raw authenticity of each step. She earned her BFA in film and television at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She recently received awards of merit from the IndieFEST film awards, the Best Shorts Competition, and the Accolade Global Film Competition for her most recent short film, Elijah, which saw its New York debut at the Greenwich Village Film Festival.

Producer - Jacob Almeas
Jacob Almeas is a producer and director who is always on the pulse of the latest craze in the entertainment industry. As an NYU Tisch Film and TV alum, Jacob has been able to learn from the best of the best and to put that knowledge and skill set to good use by producing the award-winning short film, "Elijah," a commercial for La Colombe, as well as the music video, "Rain Man." Mr. Almeas is also the director behind the "F***ing Fabulous" Tom Ford commercial, the music video for Molly Chapman's "Extraordinary," and the web series, "What If I..." Jacob has also worked for great companies such as Maker Studios, Universal Kids, and Bravo, which has given him great insight into how some of the newest and most talked about networks run.
Production Designer - Elonna Bettini
Elonna Bettini is a Brooklyn based artist who’s best known for their work as a designer and stylist. Before starting their own label “Be_tini Designs” and launching their new website in January of this year they were previously working in the off-broadway costume scene at places such as Signature Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, The Public Theater and New York Theatre Workshop.

Art Assistant - Amy B Tiong
Amy B Tiong earned her BFA in film & television with a minor in entertainment business and psychology at NYU Tisch. Amy is a Gates Millennium Scholar and Dean’s Scholar. Her works have earned her an NYU Expository Writing Award, Tisch Sight and Sound Showcase Award, and an IFC audience award. With a basis in photography, Amy enjoys art assisting on films and has interned for the art department at CBS's primetime show Elementary. She believes in creating work that makes a commercial audience think of the bigger issues. When she is not doing art or academia Amy enjoys giving back to her community volunteering with organizations such as Reading Partners.

Script Supervisor - Allison Cavanaugh
Allison is a senior at NYU Tisch School of the Arts studying Film and Television production. She has script supervised multiple intermediate and advanced production films during her time at NYU. She recently directed her intermediate short film Hawaiian Doe which is currently in post-production. Outside of school she interned at Oscilloscope Laboratories doing distribution and has also worked for film festivals. In the future, she is interested in pursuing a career in pre-production and production
G & E - Christian Forte
Christian Forte is a New York based cinematographer and gaffer, and is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Growing up around cameras and photographers his whole life, he has always been fascinated with the unique and inspiring ways images can capture and tell a story. Since beginning his work in film and television, he has worked in the camera and lighting departments on over 50 student and independent productions. He is incredibly excited to join the production of “The Remixes” and looks forward to being a part of bringing this vision to life.
G & E - David Leach
David is a student filmmaker at Western Connecticut State University and co-founder of 3 Trees Studios. In his free time, he enjoys climbing rocks and American Ninja Warrior courses.
G & E - Chris Partenio
Christian Partenio is a junior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Digital Media and Design (but he loves analog media more). He is the present-elect of the UConn Film Club and the advertising director at UCTV, the campus TV station. In the numerous short film and commercial productions that he's been a part of, he's played every role from producer director to key-grip.
